Bryan

The love of Jess’s life.

What’s that? You want to know more? Okay.

16,807 to 1. Those are the odds that Bryan, his parents, and his siblings would all be born on a Tuesday. On Tuesday July 19, 1977 in Tarzana, California, Bryan was born to Gloria and Howard Rosenberg. He spent the next 18 years in the same house in the San Fernando Valley before moving to Boulder, Colorado for college. In Boulder, he stopped skiing just long enough to get his BS and MS in Accounting.

After the typical post-graduation backpacking trip through Europe and an atypical tour of NL West ballparks,
Bryan settled down in the San Francisco area near his brother Eric, sister Lena and their families and also his awesome best man Scott. Ten years later, he’s still living in San Francisco and working at Gunderson Dettmer, his employer of the last decade.

Bryan has an aversion to sleeping and relaxing, and you can often find him playing softball, refereeing basketball, or reading a good (comic) book. He’s a Black Crowes fan, a Giants fan, a Lakers fan, and the biggest fan of his nieces and nephew.

It took him ten years and some timely matchmaking help before he finally understood what others meant when they told him “when you meet the right person, you just know right away.” Jess is his one in a billion, but Bryan has been living a life of long odds since (Tues)day one
